Detoxing isn’t just about going through foods detoxing, it involves your environment which includes food choices, water, cleaning products, and even the people you have in your life. On my healing journey I have learned a lot about detoxing. I am only now beginning to step into the arena of being social again. I had to take a break. I had to concentrate on getting my body and my soul detoxed from the physical ailments that were happening to my body. I have to admit that I don’t always stay perfect with eating right. I have the knowledge but following through is another story. What I truly enjoyed about reading Angel detox is asking God and his angels to help, to guide, to even proceed for healing for you. I am one of those people who want it to be an instant healing, but God does not always work like that. His timing is not my timing and you know what I am often times pissed about this, but in truth. Sometimes the timing is not always perfect; there are underlining reasons why it doesn’t happen when I want it to. And sometimes the answers would be something I would not expect too.
One of the many things I liked was the suggestions on cleaning products and essential oils for cleaning. For example using lavender oil to clean things, because lavender oil is a germ fighter which is something I didn’t know until I read it. Also using safe non chemical things like baking soda and vinegar instead of buying bleach or other things that can do damage to your body and health. I know bleach is one of those things that I use and afterwards I do not feel well afterwards. Overly chemically things in household cleaners cause my breathing to be worse at times and so I avoid them or have to suffer the consequences when I do use them to clean.
Food seems to be my weakest link and I am beginning to see that I don’t have control over this and so prayer to God and relying on Him to help me through my challenges may be what this woman needs to do. I am making wiser choices than I have in the past, but I am not where I want to be with my food choices. I still have trigger foods or even events in my life that trigger me to want to eat out the entire contents of my fridge. That is well prayer and meditating will be coming into my play for my detox.
