I was reading “A New Kind of Normal” talking about Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans and how the challenges helped inspire her to show off her scars and not be ashamed of them. I felt inclined to look everything up and see what they have to offer. I did, I am glad I did.
Movement has been one of my biggest challenges and I get so discouraged about my weight and my movement that I just want to throw in the towel. I am glad I didn’t. This month’s challenge is to do some exercises I have never heard of or done before. I checked out the video demonstrations and these movements are doable.
Monday my caregiver and I will be walking down to the gym area of my apartment and I will be walking on the treadmill and then I can bicycle crunches, superman, planks, mountain climbers, reverse crunches, and burpees. I have also decided to do Sharing Our Spoons sponsored by “A New Kind Of Normal” too. I am working on my five things for the month of August.
Progress is being made and every step and every encouragement allows me to do what I can for Living Ministries, my family, and those in my community. Have a great Saturday…
