I started reading this book for the soul purpose of finding out more about our survival instinct. You know the one where we are on hyper alert for everything around us, vigilant, our bodies are ready to fight or run that instinct. I have been reading many things lately that say that when we are in this mode it can cause anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and even what I have an auto-immune disease.
In Schoen’s book he gives some advice and helpful tips such as hypnosis so that you can change the brain patterns that causes these issues.
This is what I know from my own experience. When I was in some energy draining, stressful relationships my illness presented itself. My throat started closing up, inflammation started rearing its ugly head and all my issues started happening. Now that they are no longer here, I don’t have to worry about what will be happening next or what damage could be done I am now normalizing. I know it is the combination of the medications, therapeutic grade essential oils, and not having energy drains that are helping my body heal and be in balance.
If you want to learn more and get helpful tips I suggest you read this book. To me this is well worth the effort to read and it has given me a clear understanding on how the body works and what I can do to help it maintain the balance.
