The Power Of Self-Healing
Dr. Fabrizio Mancini
In February, my care provider saw Dr. Phil’s TV talk show and this author was on hocking his book. I purchase the book after Myron suggested that I might be interested in reading it.
I have always been interested in nutrition and psychology. Anyone who knows me well soon realizes this.
What I love about “The Power Of Self-Healing” is that Mancini goes into nutrition, exercise, and the spiritual aspects of health.
He lists 25 super foods that help the body regenerate the immune system. The foods are:
Apples, Artichokes, Avocados, Beets, Blueberries, Broccoli, Cherries, Chicory, Coconut Oil, Cranberries, Flax seed, Garlic, Kale, Legumes, Nuts, Olive Oil, Onions, Oranges, Red bell peppers, Salmon, Sweet potatoes, Tea, Tomatoes, Watercress, Yogurt and other fermented foods.
As everyone who reads my blog knows I have a Vasculitis disease that is attacking my throat causing a Subglotic Stenisis, which makes my life a challenge to do the simplest things and I beat myself up on a regular basis because of it.
Upon reading this book there are some great ideas about how important it is to make sure mind, body, and spirit are in balance in order to help reduce and maintain ones health with all sorts of different diseases.
I have to admit that I have not implemented all of his suggestions, but I do believe that he has not only science to back up what he says, but also case studies of real people who are doing his suggestions with supplement, exercise, changing their diet, getting enough sleep, and have a healthy spiritual life with God.
